Yoel Morales is a Dominican filmmaker and member of the Mentes Fritas collective, whose work includes music videos, feature films, and documentaries. His debut film, Azul Magia, blending Taino folklore with fantasy elements, was praised by critics and has garnered nine million views online. He is currently working on his next feature, Il Panetierre, a black comedy co-produced between the Dominican Republic and Italy.
